Music Ministry
Doug & Carol Osgood, Music Director:
At First UMC of Shelton, music is a very important part of our lives, not only at Worship times but in our personal lives too. We are blessed to have a dedicated choir and musicians who willingly give their time and talents and gifts to serve the Lord. The choir meets every Wednesday at 6:00 pm and Sunday morning at 9:00 am to practice praising God. All who have the heart to praise the Lord are welcome to join us. One does not need to be hugely skilled or musically gifted to join us. What matters the most is that there is a willingness to serve and to learn how to use the gifts and talents that you have been given.  To learn more about our Music Ministry, please contact our  Music Director.

Visitation Ministry.

The Visitation Ministry is a ministry of love and compassion to those who are shut-in. This ministry allows us to keep in touch with the needs of our people, share the love of Christ in difficult circumstances, and serve as a connection line within our church community. Let us know if you’d like to be included in the visitations or become part of the visitation team!  Contact  Pastor Bill if you would like more information or know someone who should be added to Visitation.
